Launch of Weber Haus distillery, Cachaça Solera was aged for 5 years in American oak barrels. With different wooden tostagens. the barrels give personality and unique characteristics to the drink.
Weber Haus’s Solera was named after its storage system, which consists of a stack of barrels, called scales, where the lower-level set of barrels are called Solera and carry the oldest Cachaça; the top layers are called criaderas (‘nurseries’), each one carrying a younger Cachaca until to reach the top, where is stored the freshly distilled cachaça. When the Cachaca in the ‘Solera” is bottled, then that scale is refilled with the product from the criaderas, and that one in succession from the second-oldest, down to the youngest scale.
This process gives the Cachaca Weber Haus Reserva Solera a unique flavor, and the method adds personality to the distillate with touches of vanilla, white chocolate and toasted coffee in the finish.
With refined flavor due to its aging process, Solera cachaça is also a treat to the eye: with dark blue label and copper, the bottle of 750 ml has a slim and elegant design, which gives you airs of royalty. “”Such a special drink asks for a bottle that lives up to you, so we had all the care in our choice.”” – adds Evandro.
